TillTom

Terms of Use

Last updated: 30 June 2026. By using TillTom you agree to these terms. TillTom is a temporary, one-to-one chat provided as-is.

What TillTom is

TillTom is a lightweight tool for brief, consensual one-to-one conversations. It is not an account system, identity-verification service, contact exchange, moderation platform, backup, archive, emergency service, or secure messenger for high-risk communications.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for what you type, send, show, scan, and choose to share. You must have the right to share any information you put into a chat, and you must not rely on TillTom to verify another person, a nickname, a link, or contact details typed by a participant.

Age and legal permission

You may use TillTom only if you are legally allowed to do so in your location and old enough to consent to using this kind of online service. Underage misuse is prohibited.

You must not use TillTom for

User-generated content

Messages and nicknames are user-generated content. TillTom does not pre-screen, verify, endorse, or guarantee them. We may restrict, rate-limit, block, expire, or remove access to rooms or devices where we believe it is needed to run the service, protect users, prevent abuse, comply with law, or enforce these terms.

No emergency use

Do not use TillTom for emergencies or urgent safety situations. Contact local emergency services, a trusted person, or an appropriate professional channel instead.

Temporary service

Chats are designed to expire. QR waiting rooms expire after 10 minutes, active chats expire after 24 hours, and either participant can end the chat for both people earlier. TillTom does not guarantee recovery, backup, delivery, continuous availability, or that a chat remains readable for any minimum time.

Ending chats and removal

Either participant can end a chat for both people at any time. Ending disables further messaging. There is no reporting or moderation-review flow in this version; if a chat becomes uncomfortable, end it.

No warranties

TillTom is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of availability, reliability, security, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, TillTom and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, messages, reputation, opportunity, profits, or goodwill arising from use of or inability to use the service.

Privacy and safety

Your use of TillTom is also described by the Privacy Policy, Safety page, and Encryption Explainer. Those pages are part of the practical rules for using the service responsibly.

Changes

We may update these terms; continued use means acceptance of the current version.
